Social Sharing has grown in importance lately. In the last few months in the internet business many things have changed because Google changed some algorithm with their Panda and Penguin update. Although the old way of link building is still working when you do it the right way, you have to implement some new things when you want to rank high in the search engines. Social sharing is now one of the most valuable thing you can do when you want to be on the top on Google.
What Can You Expect From Social Sharing
As I mentioned social sharing in now one of the key factors for search engine ranking. Google counts now how often your blog post or website is shared in all social media sites. The most important social media sites are Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn and YouTube. The more likes you have there and the more people who share your story the better your ranking.
Without G+ and YouTube Google don’t know exactly who is sharing and liking your post. Google only sees that you have a lot likes and shared post and they count the numbers. The more you have the better. The idea of Google is, that when you have a lot of likes then your post must be more relevant and important than a similar post with less likes. Therefore they rank the post higher.
How Can I Improve The Social Sharing?
When you are a well known person and you write very popular things then you have nothing to do because you get more than enough likes from your followers. Unfortunately there are only a very few people out there who happens this to them. What can you do to improve your social sharing?
Luckily there are communities and tools out there so solve this problem. Communities like Game of Tribes or TribePro. Another tool I use is SocialAdr.
How Do Social Sharing Sites Work?
All social sharing sites work a bit different. I will now explain the three social sharing sites I use and what you can expect.
Game of Tribes
Game of Tribes is not a typical social sharing site. It’s community of people who meet each other every week in a hangout. Usually there are seven people in a group who come together and share their knowledge and help each other. Beside that we also share each others blog post and comment on each others blog. So, beside the social sharing you get comments on a regular basis on your blog, which helps you in your social proof.
Tribe Pro is a social sharing site that you can automate. The key here is that you share other people blog post on your social media sites and in return your content get shared and liked. I use this tool together with Onlywire, a social sharing tool. Onlywire is connected with Tribe Pro.
I have set up many social media profiles in Onlywire. As soon as someone I auto-syndicate published a blog post I share their content through Onlywire to the different social media sites I have an account on. Tribe Pro counts all these sharing I do through Onlywire and in return my content I submitted to Tribe Pro will shared proportionally.
In Social Adr you buy your social sharing. You set up an account and buy a certain amount of credit. Then you set up a campaign to share your content. You can decide how much of your credits you will use to share your content. The more credits you use the more your post get shared on social media sites. It’s a very powerful tool, because it is share in a very natural way and Google likes it.
Now you know a bit about social sharing and ways to use social sharing sites. The one thing you must be aware is, when you want to use social sharing tools you have to spend some money. Otherwise it is not so effective and from my point of view a waste of time.
