What is the difference in your life between being grateful and being ungrateful. Personally what I recognized when I’m grateful than I’m more in flow. What this means is, when I’m in the flow everything I do runs easier for me. I can deal with problems better, I have better ideas and I’m more creative.
On the other side, when I’m ungrateful then I blame others for the mistakes I made, I’m snippy and everything I do seems not working the way I want. You maybe have similar experiences in your life.
How can you be more grateful
One way to achieve more in your life and when you want that life treat you better than it is a good thing to be more grateful. We often forget the good things in our lives and we are more focused on the negative side of our life. But there is a way to lead the focus back to the positive side in our life.
One exercise can recommend is the following one. Take a notebook and write all things down you appreciate in your life. When you first start with this you maybe not so aware what great things you have in your life, but when you do this exercise on a daily basis you will see differences.
What’s even more powerful is when you do this exercise together with another person. Every person makes the list for himself and thereafter you tell each other about what you are grateful in your life. You will see how your focus and feelings will shift.
The best thing is when you do this exercise right now. Do not postpone it to a later time. You will experience how your day will be different.
