A challenge to accelerate the business growth sounds interesting and scary at the same time. Last Friday on the SFM Elite call with SFM co-Founder Stuart Ross was the starting point of a new challenge.
Stuart Ross discussed at the webinar some topics how you can grow your business and the commitment you have to make to see real results in a short period of time. And because he want that the members really get momentum at this time of the year the started a challenge to accelerate the business growth in the next 30 days.
What Are the Rules Of This Challenge To Accelerate The Business Growth?
The rules are, you have to commit to blog daily and send an email to your list on a daily basis. The blog and the emails should focus on providing value to the blog readers as well as the people on the email list. Sounds easy? I think it can be a challenge to provide a lot of value. On the other side, everyone who is in the online and affiliate business for a while has a lot of knowledge other people are looking for. Key is the be aware of the knowledge you have and that these things you know is of value for others.
The other part is list building. We have to find a way to get 10 leads a day (10 people who opt-in to the newsletter). This part can be hard. It depends on the strategy you use. I use most of the time so called „free marketing“. Free marketing is for example blogging and attract people to read your articles and hopefully they opt-in.
The easier and fastest way to get a lot of leads is through advertising. The problem is that you can easily spend a lot of money and don’t get the results you wish. Therefore you have to learn to get clever on advertising. I only use paid advertising from time to time and I had miscellaneous results with it.
What Are The Challenges For Me
First of all I have to tell you a bit about the circumstances I’m in at the moment. I still work part time (3.5 days a week) in a job. My background is chemistry and I’m responsible for the quality management and product development in the company I work for. The rest of the week I use for my business. But because I choose to reduce my workload I had also made an agreement with my wife that I take over more responsibilities in our house. Therefore I can not use the full time I’m more at home for my business.
Now to commit to blog daily and send an email on a daily basis with value to my list is at some days during the week challenging for me. Because I work long hours and have a long way to travel I do not have a lot of time in the evening for my business and I’m also burnt out in the evening. Therefore I have to prepare many things in advance at the other days to keep up with the challenge.
The next calling for me is the lead generation. As I mentioned, I used mostly „free marketing“ and with this method I get hardly ten leads a day. So I have to go more into paid marketing. The good thing is that I cut a lot of expenses in the last few weeks, so that I have now more money to invest in advertising.
But the thing is to learn some strategies during this time to get more qualified leads who are really interested in joining the Six Figure Mentors and starting their own online business. The better quality of leads you get, the faster you will have your return on investment. And this is what keeps the business alive.
